Four Kalim apps, one coffee journey
Kalim Innovation Technologies Inc. ·
A drink order passes through several people and decisions. The Kalim ecosystem gives each part of that journey a place.
Kalim Innovation Technologies Inc., founded by Binh Khiem Nguyen (Kalim Nguyen), is developing four apps around a coffee-shop operating model. Their roles follow the guest, the store, the team and the business. The website’s demonstrations show how those roles are intended to connect as the company prepares its first Kalim Coffee café in Calgary, Canada.
The guest starts with Kalims
Kalims brings the menu and ordering experience to the guest. A customer can explore drinks, choose customizations and follow an order. Membership and rewards belong to that same customer experience, so the guest has a place to return after a purchase.
Voice ordering is another way to begin. The Kalim Assistant demonstration follows a request from a spoken drink choice through review, confirmation, payment and pickup. The order still needs a clear drink, selected options and final total before payment. Device and payment configuration determine which payment methods are available.
The store receives the order in Kalim
Kalim supports the store side of service. It is the point of sale and operating workspace where the team can review an order and prepare it using the store menu. The guest-facing request needs to arrive as something the barista can act on: a drink, its customizations and its order status.
This connection matters because an attractive ordering screen is only one part of the experience. The team also needs to understand what was confirmed, what is being prepared and what is ready to collect. The design goal is a consistent journey between the guest’s view and the store’s work.
KalimStaffs supports the people doing the work
KalimStaffs is the employee workspace. Staff records and team coordination sit alongside the ordering system rather than being treated as part of the customer’s account. Each person’s access should follow their assigned role.
The founder’s background includes barista training from basic to advanced skills. In the operating plan, that practical training remains part of preparing the team. Software can help organize information, while employees still need clear recipes, practice and an understanding of the service flow.
Kalim Invest provides a defined business view
Kalim Invest is designed as a workspace for authorized investors. Its purpose is to present permitted business information and updates. It has a different audience from the guest’s menu or an employee’s work screen.
The public investment overview describes the company’s plans and planning assumptions. A forecast is a view of possible future operations, rather than a record of achieved sales. Keeping that distinction clear helps readers understand what is being built and what still needs operating evidence.
Testing the connection in a real coffee shop
The next step is preparing a physical Kalim Coffee location in Calgary, Alberta, and validating the connected workflow under actual service conditions. The company is still working on its site and financing. Opening and pickup details will be announced when the location is ready.
The planned drive-thru story illustrates how voice ordering, payment and pickup could fit together. Longer-term robotic preparation is a separate development ambition. The current app demonstrations, store launch plans and future concepts have different stages of readiness.
For Kalim, the value of four apps will come from how reliably they support one service journey. Explore the interactive ecosystem and the coffee brand to see that journey from both sides of the counter.
